Become a Guide

Nominate someone whose story deserves to be preserved, or tell your story to help make the world a better place.

What is a Guide?

In the Field Notes from Earth universe, a Guide is someone with a story that others can learn from. They may not think of themselves that way—but we do.

A guide might be:

  • A grandparent with a quiet legacy

  • Someone who’s walked through fire and came out softer

  • A teacher, artist, veteran, caregiver, survivor, or storyteller

  • A person you love who simply has something to say

Let’s tell stories together

If selected, your Guide (or you) will be interviewed in a cinematic, documentary-style session. We’ll come to them—at home, in their workshop, on their land—wherever their story feels most alive.

We’ll spend about an hour in conversation, followed by a natural light portrait session. These moments will be edited into a short film or preserved as part of our Legacy Series.

The Guide receive:

  • A beautiful printed portrait

  • A digital copy of their full interview

  • A 3–5 minute mini-documentary (if selected for feature)

  • A spot in the Field Notes from Earth archive

  • Something their family—and the world—can cherish
